Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 203.84 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 34.71 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 33.44 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 30.55 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 18.48 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 13.75 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 12.77 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 12.21 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 11.77 crore) and UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 11.55 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 212.55 points down at 21717.95, while BSE Sensex ended down 723.57 points at 71428.43.

On the other hand, ITC Ltd.(down 4.00 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 4.00 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 3.51 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 3.11 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
