Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 25.92 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.76 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 5.19 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 3.92 crore), Indus Towers(numbers of share traded: 3.86 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.39 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 3.04 crore), Mishtann Foods(numbers of share traded: 2.76 crore), Vikas Ecotech (numbers of share traded: 2.41 crore) and NHPC(numbers of share traded: 2.27 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 1.1 points up at 21930.5, while BSE Sensex ended down 34.09 points at 72152.0.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
