NEW DELHI: Mishtann Foods(numbers of share traded: 9.39 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.36 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 5.01 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.67 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 3.61 crore), Shree Securities(numbers of share traded: 3.27 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.14 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 2.79 crore), Atreya Petro(numbers of share traded: 2.60 crore) and UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.45 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 82.1 points down at 21771.7, while BSE Sensex ended down 354.21 points at 71731.42.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 11.18 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.51 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 3.24 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.33 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
