Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 30.10 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 29.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 24.60 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 22.94 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 19.32 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 17.76 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 13.98 crore), SJVN(numbers of share traded: 13.59 crore), NBCC (numbers of share traded: 12.77 crore) and Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 12.34 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 385.0 points up at 21737.6, while BSE Sensex ended up 1240.9 points at 71941.57.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
