Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.30 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.42 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 6.17 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 4.50 crore), Indian Info Sof(numbers of share traded: 4.04 crore), Shalimar Prod(numbers of share traded: 3.53 crore), Shree Securities(numbers of share traded: 3.34 crore), Unitech(numbers of share traded: 3.03 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 2.17 crore) and Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.04 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 65.16 points down at 22032.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 199.17 points at 73128.77.

On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.44 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
