Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 32.90 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 15.65 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 9.85 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 9.21 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 8.95 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 7.77 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 6.09 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.50 crore), BEL(numbers of share traded: 5.27 crore) and Castrol India(numbers of share traded: 4.98 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 91.95 points up at 21441.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 229.84 points at 71336.8.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
