Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 32.82 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 31.04 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 27.89 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 18.11 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 11.07 crore), Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 7.85 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 7.28 crore), Hathway Cable(numbers of share traded: 6.87 crore), Ibull Real Estate(numbers of share traded: 6.71 crore) and Zomato(numbers of share traded: 6.41 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 34.45 points up at 21453.1, while BSE Sensex ended up 122.1 points at 71437.19.

On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.32 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
