Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 15.70 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.38 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 3.85 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 3.71 crore), Advik Capital(numbers of share traded: 3.22 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.90 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 2.69 crore), Sun Tech Over(numbers of share traded: 2.54 crore) and Urja Global(numbers of share traded: 2.20 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 19.95 points up at 20926.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 33.57 points at 69584.6.

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
