Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.88 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 4.86 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.08 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 3.99 crore), Unitech(numbers of share traded: 3.77 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.49 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.27 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 2.82 crore), FCS Software(numbers of share traded: 2.35 crore) and Seacoast Shipping(numbers of share traded: 2.04 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 82.6 points up at 20937.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 357.59 points at 69653.73.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
