Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 7.98 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.03 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 4.64 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.41 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.10 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 3.50 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 3.07 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.69 crore), Orient Green Pwr(numbers of share traded: 2.43 crore) and PrismxGlobalVent(numbers of share traded: 2.24 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 168.3 points up at 20855.1, while BSE Sensex ended up 431.02 points at 69296.14.

On the other hand, LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
