Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.12 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.66 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.59 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 2.52 crore), Seacoast Shipping(numbers of share traded: 1.69 crore), Spicejet(numbers of share traded: 1.44 crore), Unitech(numbers of share traded: 1.33 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 1.24 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.23 crore) and RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 1.22 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 134.75 points up at 20267.9, while BSE Sensex ended up 492.75 points at 67481.19.

On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
