Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.13 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 6.24 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.04 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 4.52 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 3.00 crore), Orient Green Pwr(numbers of share traded: 2.82 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 2.69 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 2.37 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.13 crore) and Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.07 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 37.8 points down at 19694.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 139.58 points at 65655.15.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
