Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 36.16 crore), JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 19.38 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 15.81 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.04 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.01 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 6.37 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 6.19 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 5.88 crore), NBCC (numbers of share traded: 5.52 crore) and Welspun India(numbers of share traded: 5.01 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 93.65 points up at 19140.9, while BSE Sensex ended up 329.85 points at 64112.65.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 3.58 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
