Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 20.72 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 14.85 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 9.76 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 9.56 crore), JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 9.36 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 8.05 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.43 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 7.11 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 5.77 crore) and Central Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.03 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 190.0 points up at 19047.25, while BSE Sensex ended up 634.65 points at 63782.8.

On the other hand, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.17 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.14 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
