Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 36.47 crore), MMTC(numbers of share traded: 13.01 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 7.88 crore), SJVN(numbers of share traded: 6.98 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 6.97 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 6.05 crore), Ircon Intl.(numbers of share traded: 6.04 crore), ITI Ltd(numbers of share traded: 5.87 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 5.58 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 5.43 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 42.95 points down at 19751.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 125.65 points at 66282.74.

On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.69 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
