Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 23.57 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 13.32 crore), MMTC(numbers of share traded: 13.19 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 11.77 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 10.51 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 8.56 crore), TV18 Broadcast(numbers of share traded: 8.37 crore), Network18 Media(numbers of share traded: 5.98 crore), NMDC(numbers of share traded: 5.87 crore) and YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.95 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 17.35 points down at 19794.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 64.66 points at 66408.39.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
