Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 38.82 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 17.31 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 15.11 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 13.07 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.30 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 7.39 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 6.64 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 5.38 crore) and Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 5.08 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 141.15 points down at 19512.35, while BSE Sensex ended down 483.24 points at 65512.39.

On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 4.90 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.73 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.50 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
