Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 16.51 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.78 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 9.20 crore), L&T Fin Holding(numbers of share traded: 7.13 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 6.37 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.58 crore), Vikas Ecotech (numbers of share traded: 3.95 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 3.63 crore) and Unitech(numbers of share traded: 3.06 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 3.15 points down at 19993.2, while BSE Sensex ended up 94.05 points at 67221.13.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 4.22 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 3.56 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 3.29 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.03 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 2.94 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
