Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.81 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.43 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.92 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.70 crore), Visagar Fin(numbers of share traded: 1.65 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.56 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.45 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 0.96 crore), Mishtann Foods(numbers of share traded: 0.91 crore) and Shree Global(numbers of share traded: 0.79 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 13.85 points down at 19646.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 106.62 points at 66160.2.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
