Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.00 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 3.39 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.94 crore), FCS Software(numbers of share traded: 1.91 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.57 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.34 crore), Indian Info Sof(numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore), Adcon Capital Servic(numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore), Subex(numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.09 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 146.95 points up at 19711.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 529.03 points at 66589.93.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
