Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 44.19 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 16.53 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 14.95 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 13.97 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 7.89 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.74 crore), Piramal Pharma(numbers of share traded: 4.77 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.23 crore), NCC(numbers of share traded: 2.85 crore) and PNB(numbers of share traded: 2.73 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 35.75 points up at 18321.15, while BSE Sensex ended up 98.84 points at 61872.62.

On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
