Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 8.10 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.39 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.01 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.92 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.53 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.16 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 1.02 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 0.98 crore), Mishtann Foods(numbers of share traded: 0.77 crore) and Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 0.74 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 62.6 points down at 18285.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 208.01 points at 61773.78.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 6.00 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
