Sensex rises! These stocks surged over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Friday's trade as Dalal Street closed higher for the day.

Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 462.26 points at 52727.98.

The top gainers included Shilchar Tech(up 10.0%), DCM Nouvelle(up 10.0%), Aspira Pathlab & Dia(up 10.0%), Tilak Ventures (PP)(up 10.0%), Imagicaaworld Entert(up 9.97%), Vivimed Labs(up 9.97%), Lee Nee Soft(up 9.97%), Interactive Fin. Ser(up 9.97%), Optiemus Infra(up 9.96%) and Maral Overseas(up 9.94%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as M&M(up 4.32%), Hero MotoCorp(up 3.21%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.75%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.56%) and HUL(up 2.28%) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index ended 142.6 points up at 15699.25.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 41 shares ended in the green, while 9 closed in the red.
