Sensex rises! These stocks surged over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade as Dalal Street closed higher for the day.

Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 740.34 points at 58683.99.

The top gainers included Radhika Jeweltech(up 10.0%), Zenith Exports(up 9.99%), Future Enterprises (up 9.98%), GKP Printing & Pack(up 9.97%), Rajasthan Tube(up 9.97%), 8K Miles Soft(up 9.97%), Atam Valves(up 9.97%), Andhra Cements(up 9.93%), Vishal Fabrics(up 9.91%) and Triveni Enterprises(up 9.9%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Bajaj Finserv(up 3.80%), HDFC Life(up 3.69%), Tata Consumer(up 3.05%), Bajaj Finance(up 3.02%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 2.76%) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index ended 172.95 points up at 17498.25.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 32 shares ended in the green, while 18 closed in the red.
