Sensex rises! These stocks surged over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Tuesday's trade as Dalal Street closed higher for the day.

Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 270.01 points at 83712.51.

The top gainers included Nxtdigital(up 9.99%), MSP Steel(up 9.99%), Orient Tradelink(up 9.93%), Belrise Industries(up 9.85%), KMF Builders(up 9.00%), Parmax Pharma(up 8.94%), AI Champdany(up 8.93%), MadhuveerCom18(up 8.71%), Ramky Infra(up 8.71%) and Nitta Gelatin(up 8.70%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Kotak Bank(up 3.48%), Eternal(up 1.92%), Asian Paints(up 1.72%), NTPC(up 1.71%) and Grasim Inds.(up 1.51%) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index ended 61.21 points up at 25522.5.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 26 shares ended in the green, while 24 closed in the red.
