Sensex rises! These stocks surged over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade as Dalal Street closed higher for the day.

Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 182.34 points at 81330.56.

The top gainers included Innovassynth Inv(up 9.99%), Aarti Surfactants(up 9.99%), 3P Land Holdings(up 9.99%), Mangalam Organics (up 9.99%), Walchandngr Ind(up 9.98%), Shahi Shipping (up 9.96%), 7NR Retail Ltd.(up 9.95%), Consol Const.(up 9.94%), Duroply lndustries(up 9.94%) and DCM Financial(up 9.92%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Tata Steel(up 3.94%), Shriram Finance(up 2.90%), BEL(up 2.57%), Hindalco(up 2.49%) and Eternal(up 2.25%) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index ended 88.56 points up at 24666.9.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 38 shares ended in the green, while 12 closed in the red.
