Sensex rises! These stocks surged over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade as Dalal Street closed higher for the day.

Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 592.93 points at 76617.44.

The top gainers included Adinath Exim(up 10.00%), GRP Ltd(up 9.99%), Jhaveri Credits(up 9.99%), Lime Chemicals(up 9.99%), Ratnabhumi Developer(up 9.99%), Aarey Drugs(up 9.97%), Sanrhea Tech(up 9.97%), Emmessar Biotech(up 9.97%), NACL Industries (up 9.96%) and Intellivate Cap(up 9.90%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Tata Consumer(up 7.11%), Zomato(up 4.97%), Titan Company (up 3.74%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.90%) and Maruti Suzuki(up 2.05%) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index ended 166.65 points up at 23332.35.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 30 shares ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
