Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Piccadily Sugar(20.0%), Pradhin Ltd.(20.0%), Dhampure Special(19.97%), Rajshree Sugars(19.96%), Parvati Sweetners(19.94%), Simbhaoli Sugars(19.86%), Shree Global(19.72%), Virtual Global Education Ltd.-Deleted(19.61%), Innovators Facade Sy(19.46%) and Godavari Drugs(19.15%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 468.38 points up at 61806.19, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 151.45 points up at 18420.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks closed in the green, while 44 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Rajshree Sugars, Sakthi Sugars, Ponni Sugars, Yashraj Contain and Lloyds Metals hit their fresh 52-week high, while Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., Raasi Refract, Sintex Inds., Cerebra Integrat and Bhoruka Alum touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
