Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd.(20.0%), Next Mediaworks(19.97%), Himalaya Food Inter(19.91%), Simplex Infra(18.93%), DiGiSPICE Tech(16.77%), Shilchar Tech(16.2%) and Madhav Infra Proj(15.55%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 160.0 points up at 62570.68, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 48.85 points up at 18609.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Skipper Ltd, Central Bank, Clara Industries Ltd., Narmada Gelatine and B-Right Realestate Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gala Global Prod and Nirvikara Paper Mill touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
