Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, RTS Power(20.0%), Panjon Ltd.(19.74%), Technopack Polymers Ltd.(18.68%), Maha Corp Ltd(PP)(17.95%), Luharuka Media & In(17.03%), Sadbhav Eng(16.01%) and Axita Cotton(15.3%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 184.54 points up at 63284.19, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 54.15 points up at 18812.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as RTS Power, Technopack Polymers Ltd., Axita Cotton, Salasar Techno Engg and HLV Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Welcure Drugs, FutureLifestyleFash, Wellness Noni, Global Longlife Hospital and Research Ltd. and Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
