Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Maha Corp Ltd(20.0%), MSTC Ltd.(19.99%), STC India(19.78%), Prime Focus(19.62%), Deccan GoldMine(19.53%), R&B Denims(17.8%), Maha Corp Ltd(PP)(16.67%), Ramco Systems(16.35%) and Setco Automotive(16.1%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 211.16 points up at 62504.8, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 50.0 points up at 18562.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Deccan GoldMine, Orient Beverage, Suzlon Energy(PP), Rail Vikas Nigam and Maruti Infra hit their fresh 52-week high, while Coastal Corp(PP), Jump Networks, Dhruv Wellness, FutureLifestyleFash and Gagan Polycot touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
