Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Rita Finance and Leasing Ltd.(19.8%) and Sat Industries(15.78%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 107.73 points up at 61980.72, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 6.25 points up at 18409.65.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as HUDCO, Mercury Laboratories, Tanfac Ind, Kirloskar Oil and Shervani Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bilcare Ltd, TIL Ltd, Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., ANG Lifesciences Ind and Healthy Life Agritec Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
