Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Khaitan(India)(20.0%), Goa Carbons(19.99%), Zenith Fibres(19.98%), Maestros Elec(19.98%), Ad-Manum Fin(19.95%), Batliboi(19.92%), Flexituff Ventures(19.92%), Mangalam Organics (18.43%), Jindal Worldwide(18.09%) and ACI Infocom(16.13%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 234.79 points up at 61185.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 85.65 points up at 18202.8.


In the Nifty50 index, 33 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Star Delta Tran, Maan Aluminium, Rail Vikas Nigam, Advitiya Trade India and DC Infotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., Bombay Rayon, Gautam Gems(PP), Avance Tech and SREI Infra Fin touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
