Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Gloster(20.0%), Oriental Trimex(20.0%), Ponni Sugars(19.99%), Weizmann Ltd(19.97%), Biofil Chem(19.96%), MPS Infotecnics (18.52%), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd.(17.8%), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(17.74%), Racl Geartech (16.55%) and Mold Tek Tech(16.05%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 786.74 points up at 60746.59, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 225.4 points up at 18012.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Gloster, Avantel, Modis Navnirman Ltd., Containe Technologies Ltd. and Ravalgaon Sugar hit their fresh 52-week high, while Sportking India, Intellect Design, Tracxn Technologies Ltd., PrismxGlobalVent and Rel Capital touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
