Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Sanmit Infra(910.5%), Hemang Resources (19.98%), Jindal Worldwide(19.98%), Infibeam Avenues(19.97%), Tainwala Chem(19.96%), Alufluoride Ltd(15.5%) and Indsil Hydro(15.12%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 203.01 points up at 59959.85, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 49.85 points up at 17786.8.


In the Nifty50 index, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sanmit Infra, Tourism Finance, Cravatex Ltd, Indo Us Bio-Tech and Orbit Exports hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gautam Gems(PP), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd., Coastal Corp(PP), Shree Securities and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
