Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Nalwa Sons Invst(20.0%), Hemang Resources (19.96%), Cargotrans Maritime Ltd.(19.96%), Madhav Infra Proj(19.95%), Bhagyanagar Ind(18.98%), Aptech(17.53%) and Bharat Bijlee(16.19%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 212.88 points up at 59756.84, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 80.6 points up at 17736.95.


In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Nalwa Sons Invst, Cargotrans Maritime Ltd., Yash Chemex Ltd., Ashirwad Steels and Karur Vysya Bank hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gland Pharma, OrissaBengalCarrier, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd. and Nagarjuna Fertilizer touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
