Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Omkar Speciality(20.0%), DC Infotech(19.97%), Techindia Nirman (19.97%), Ansal Buildwell(19.57%), Tips Films Ltd.(19.2%) and Bombay Wire Rope(17.52%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 104.25 points up at 59307.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 12.35 points up at 17576.3.


In the Nifty50 index, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as DC Infotech, Tips Films Ltd., Jindal Poly Investm, Shilchar Tech and Jayant Infratech Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Delhivery Ltd., JohnsonCtrls Hitachi, Policy Bazaar, Nureca Ltd. and Piramal Pharma Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
