Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Gokul Agro Resources(20.0%), Wonder Fibromats(20.0%), Gilada Fin. & Inv.(19.96%), K&R Rail Engineering(19.94%), Bharat Gears(17.69%), AXISCADES Engineeri(17.51%), Zenith Fibres(16.68%) and Containe Technologies Ltd.(15.0%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 549.62 points up at 58960.6, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 175.15 points up at 17486.95.


In the Nifty50 index, 40 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Containe Technologies Ltd., Data Patterns(India)Ltd., Panorama Studios Int, Dynamic Cables and Orient Refractories hit their fresh 52-week high, while Motherson Sumi, Omkar Speciality, GVK Power Infra, Unison Metals and Mehai Technology touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
