Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Digicontent(20.0%), Som Datt Fin(19.97%), Polymech Mac(19.94%), Atlanta Ltd(19.91%), Wherrelz IT Solutions Ltd.(19.83%), TVS Electronics(19.13%), Ontic Finserve(18.75%), Shemaroo Entertain(16.93%) and Camlin Fine Sc(15.16%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 684.64 points up at 57919.97, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 171.35 points up at 17185.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Zenith Exports, Cranex Ltd, Apollo Micro Systems, Pennar Ind and Prime Fresh hit their fresh 52-week high, while Unishire Urban Infr, Indo Asia Fin, Omkar Speciality, S M Gold and Alan Scott Industrie touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
