Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Transchem Ltd(20.0%), Supra Pacific Manage(20.0%), Sonal Mercantile(20.0%), Shreeshay Engineers(20.0%) and BDH Industries(18.74%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 578.51 points up at 59719.74, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 194.0 points up at 17816.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shreeshay Engineers, Sonal Mercantile, Lancer Container Lin, McLeod Russel and Diamines Chem hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shubham Polyspin, MEP Infrastructure, A F Enterprises, Dipna Pharmachem Ltd. and Mehai Technology touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
