Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Halder Venture(20.0%), Kaarya Facilities(20.0%), BSL Ltd(19.99%), USG Tech(19.98%), Mahalaxmi Rub(19.98%), Dolfin Rubbers(19.98%), Vaswani Ind(19.96%), Vivid Global(19.93%), Nyssa Corporation (19.91%) and Jindal Capital(19.89%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 659.31 points up at 59688.22, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 174.35 points up at 17798.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kaarya Facilities, Dolfin Rubbers, Uday Jewellery, GKB Ophthalmics and Vinyl Chemicals hit their fresh 52-week high, while Maha Corp Ltd(PP), Gennex Labs(PP), Mehai Technology, A F Enterprises and Naturo Indiabull Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
