Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Shalimar Wires(20.0%), Nagpur Power(20.0%), Source Natural(20.0%), Surya Roshni(19.99%), Saboo Sodium(PP)(19.87%), HPL Electric Power(19.34%), Master Trust(19.26%), Prevest Denpro Ltd.(19.24%), Suditi Ind(19.18%) and Kridhan Infra (17.85%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 59.15 points up at 58833.87, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 36.45 points up at 17558.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Vinyl Chemicals, Angel Fibers, Sky Gold, Mafatlal Ind and Goel Food Products Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while GVK Power Infra, Aspira Pathlab & Dia, MSR India, Darshan Orna and Earum Pharmaceutical touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
