Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Ruby Mills(20.0%), Advait Infratech(19.99%), Indo Amines(19.97%), Rishi Laser(19.95%), Baroda Extrusion(19.84%), Promax Power Ltd.(19.83%), DCM Ltd(19.68%), 7Seas Entertain(18.81%), New Light Apparels(18.37%) and Roopa Ind(17.97%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 37.87 points up at 60298.0, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 12.25 points up at 17956.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Advait Infratech, TCPL Packaging, Ritco Logistics, Goblin India and Kewal Kiran Clo hit their fresh 52-week high, while Saboo Sodium(PP), Chordia Food, GVK Power Infra, Future Enterprises and Vipul Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
