Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Times Guaranty(20.0%), Yug Decor(20.0%), Tinna Rubber(20.0%), Purple Entertainment(19.97%), Weizmann Ltd(19.96%), Prakash Steel(19.91%), Indbank Merc(19.9%), Luharuka Media & In(19.81%), Celebrity Fash(19.52%) and Cochin Minerals(19.43%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 89.13 points up at 58387.93, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 15.5 points up at 17397.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Yug Decor, Tinna Rubber, Cochin Minerals, CSL Finance and 20 Microns hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jetmall Spices and Masala Ltd., Eastcoast Steel, Ramgopal Poly, Future Enterprises and Karda Const touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
