Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Shine Fashions(20.0%), Brady Morris Eng(19.98%), Surana Solar (19.95%), Abans Enterprises (19.91%), Jump Networks(19.91%), Suncare Traders(19.23%), GMM Pfaudler(19.04%), Speciality Rest(17.68%), Purple Entertainment(16.72%) and Modella Woollen(15.0%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 712.46 points up at 57570.25, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 228.65 points up at 17158.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Speciality Rest, Sree Rayalaseema, Lotus Eye Hosp, Enkei Wheels and Beardsell Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bajaj Hindusthan Su, Mukesh Babu Fin, Aarnav Fashions, Max Alert Systems Ltd. and IMP Powers Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
