Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Ambica Agarbathies & Aroma Industries Ltd.(19.87%), Beardsell Ltd(19.76%) and Premco Global(18.96%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1041.47 points up at 56857.79, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 287.8 points up at 16929.6.


In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Lotus Eye Hosp, Campus Activewear Ltd., Rudra Global Infra, Kenvi Jewels and Alfavision Over hit their fresh 52-week high, while IMP Powers Ltd, Union Quality, Garment Mantra Life, Spicejet and Integra Engg touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
