Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Gradiente Infotainment Ltd.(57.27%), Mindteck India(20.0%), Signet Ind(19.91%), DRA Consultants(17.19%), Gokul Refoils(16.83%), Pioneer Invest(16.22%) and PC Products(15.49%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 303.38 points up at 54481.84, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 87.7 points up at 16220.6.


In the Nifty50 index, 34 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Morarka Finance, TCPL Packaging, Arman Financial, Monte Carlo Fashion and Sailani Tours N Travels Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Parsvnath Dev., Sathavahana Isp, Andhra Cements and Kemp & Co touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
