Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Kallam Textiles (39.32%), Pressman Advertisin(20.0%), Hi-Tech Pipes(19.99%), Dhanvarsha Finvest(19.98%), Nilachal Refrac(19.88%), Zuari Global(19.82%), GOCL Corporation (19.31%), Concord Drugs(18.82%), CHD Chemicals Ltd.(18.47%) and Milestone Furniture(18.09%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 433.3 points up at 53161.28, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 132.8 points up at 15832.05.


In the Nifty50 index, 40 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kallam Textiles, Wendt India, Gensol Engg, Marathon Nextgen and Sterling Tools hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tricom Fruit, Patspin India, Evoq Remedies Ltd., Goyal Associate and Wardwizard Innov(PP)touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
