Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Kallam Textiles (39.29%), Odyssey Tech(20.0%), Mehai Technology(20.0%), Gayatri Project(19.81%), Nazara Technologies Ltd.(19.06%), G S Auto(19.03%), Alphalogic Techsys(17.51%), MMTC(16.23%), Indokem Ltd(16.1%) and Nilachal Refrac(16.08%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 462.26 points up at 52727.98, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 142.6 points up at 15699.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kallam Textiles, Indokem Ltd, Rolex Rings, Sterling Tools and Gensol Engg hit their fresh 52-week high, while Concord Drugs, Wardwizard Innov(PP), Mercury Laboratories, Zodiac JRD MKJ and Star Health touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
