Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, MT Educare(20.0%), Lypsa Gems(20.0%), Svam Software(19.89%), G G Engineering(19.8%), SRG Housing Fin(19.22%), Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd.(15.6%) and PNB Housing(15.14%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 427.79 points up at 55320.28, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 121.85 points up at 16478.1.


In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Akashdeep Metal, Tree House Edu, Lords Chloro, Essar Sec and Time Technoplast hit their fresh 52-week high, while Nilachal Refrac, SAL Automotive, Jagran Prakashan, Bharat Bhushan and Rajasthan Petro touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
